Look what Michelle’s class have been doing this week.

This week in Michelle’s class we have been enhancing our independence skills by finding our own coats for outdoor learning and trying hard to put them on. 

Our class story is Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. We have had lots of fun exploring the sensory story tray and making feathered owls, fingerprint owls and drawing owls.  The video of Owl Babies is available on the school website for you to share with your child. 

The children have worked hard on their communication and interaction using sentence strips around the class and wider school to help them use their voice and make requests. We are very proud of them all! 

All of the children in Michelle’s class are enjoying accessing our beautiful sensory rooms in which we can regulate, complete our sensory programmes and enjoy 1:1 intensive interaction and activities.
