Zahida’s Class Blog

In the Autumn term the children have been exploring making marks using a variety of different mediums. They enjoyed making marks with chalk, pens, crayons, dabbers, paint and even using their fingers in sand, rice and other messy materials.

As a part of RE and different cultures we have been focusing on belonging and communities. The children made some friendship bracelets by painting pasta. They enjoyed making some friendship posters linked to our class story, ‘Guess how much I love you’. The children also loved making a class friendship tree to symbolise our class community and togetherness.

This term we are exploring the meaning of celebration, and the children have enjoyed exploring a Diwali sensory tray and making celebration cakes in playdough and candles.
