This week we have focused on fossils in science. We have explored what fossils are, where we might find them, and how they are formed. As part of this work, we have looked closely at a range of different fossils and used pencils and charcoal to sketch them in our art books.
We also focussed on matching numbers to amounts and adding numbers together by using numicom to help with our number work.
In history, we have started to learn about the Romans. We created a timeline and researched facts using non-fiction books. The students have found out what BC and AD mean and that the Romans ruled over 2,500 years ago!
