In Maddi’s class this week we have enjoyed exploring sports equipment in the hall such as beanbags and hoops, hurdles, and tennis balls. The children have been developing their physical independence skills and climbing on climbing frames and stepping tiles.

The children have loved being outside and mark making with a variety of tools and media. They have explored shaving foam, paint, water, chalk and crayons, with both hands and feet! They have washed the windows with soapy water after painting them and enjoyed splashing in tough trays.

The children have been counting to three and matching colours and shapes and enjoyed exploring colours. They have started to explore Easter activities and have been learning ‘full’ and ‘empty’ with sand, rice, and water in plastic hollow eggs.

The children have developed their communication skills through exploration and play and are learning to share their favourite toys and activities with their peers.

We are looking forward to the summer term and continuing to explore outdoor learning and play!
