PSHERE
At Discovery, we provide opportunities for pupils to develop a positive sense of self, and create strong relationships with those around them. By learning how to manage their emotions, pupils with develop skills in co-operation and dealing conflict, in order to support their ability to achieve in school and later life.
EYFS and Informal Pathway
Pupils develop their PSHERE skills and knowledge skills by learning about themselves, others, and the world around them. They explore emotions, relationships, and how to work together through activities like sharing, taking turns, and playing with others. They also learn about staying healthy, being safe, and caring for their environment. Through conversations, role-play, and stories, children develop empathy, kindness, and a sense of responsibility. These experiences help them build confidence, make good choices, and develop strong social skills.
Semi Formal Pathway
