Our current focus story is We’re going on a Bear Hunt. The children in Hann’s class have been enjoying listening to the story being read and doing related activities. We enjoyed a Bear Hunt tuff tray and water play with blue coloured water. This week we have been exploring food items to make a bear. We used chocolate spread, rice cakes and bananas. The children enjoyed practicing their fine motor skills by helping to spread the chocolate spread onto the rice cake. They then placed banana slices on to represent the bear’s eyes. We have also enjoyed doing Children in Need and Anti-Bullying week activities including colourful handprints, decorating Pudsey pictures and biscuits.
