Look at what Louise’s Class have been doing this week!

This week the children in Discovery Nursery have enjoyed learning and exploring all things Jubilee! We have made beautiful crowns to wear and have loved playing with our flags watching them flap and make sounds. We enjoyed our sensory play as well watching the coloured rice fall and hearing the crunch of the cereal. We are looking forward to our celebration in Summer 2. 

TVED Book Awards

We are enjoying exploring our TVED book award choices to find our favourite and we will be voting for the winning book in June. Very exciting!

Some children are choosing the books from the library to share at home so look out for them in book bags.

Explorer of the Week

Louise’s Class- Noah, for being more confident to babble and chat with grown ups

Becky’s Class- Scarlett, for fantastic mark making

Cheryl’s Class- Esme, communicating her needs through taking an adult to what she wants

Leanne’s Class- Fabian, for exploring new experiences with confidence

Chris’ Class- For walking and stroking the therapy dogs

Zahida’s Class- Zaki, for being happy coming into class

Grace’s Class- Saffron, for amazing writing in English

Hanna’s Class- Zoya, for singing in the national anthem

Michelle’s Class- Lloyd, for impressing everyone with his swimming skills
